Gary Blom

Director - Sydney

Gary has over 35 years of business experience. He spent 12 years working as a Senior Investment banker in New York and was Partner of a leading Wall Street Investment Bank which specialised in cross border transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, debt & equity capital raising and IPOs. During his time in the USA Gary worked on numerous transactions across a wide range of industry sectors.

Prior to working on Wall Street Gary was the founder and CEO of Attaché Software Inc. a company that successfully developed accounting software for small to medium sized companies in both North America and Australia.

Following his return to Australia in 1994, Gary has been involved in a number of entrepreneurial endeavours, most notably the successful launch of the large-format 3D IMAX movie theatres in Australia, New Zealand and Asia where he was the Chairman and largest shareholder of the public company that had the exclusive licence for these countries. During this period he was also the Chairman of the Darling Harbour Business Association in Sydney and the Southbank Business Association in Brisbane.

Gary is a Director and shareholder in a number of businesses including a wine and beer business that has manufacturing operations in Australia and distribution in China and the United States. Gary specialises in complex negotiations, deal structuring, cross border transactions and business development.

Bill Middleton

Partner - New York City

Bill Middleton is a native New Zealander who graduated from The Royal Military College of Australia, Duntroon, as a Mechanical Engineer and was commissioned as a Lieutenant into the Royal New Zealand Corps of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.

In 1982, he moved to the U.S. as President and founder of a computer software development and marketing joint venture with the international accounting firms Arthur Young Australia, Arthur Young U.S., and Arthur Young Canada. 

Following the sale of this business in 1985, he co-founded the investment bank Corporate Capital Group, Inc., based in New York, and with offices in Sydney and Auckland. As President and CEO he has worked with American, Australian, and New Zealand clients on the merger and acquisition of companies, as well as the raising of capital from strategic and financial investors.

He is a founding member of the Madison One network of Merger and Acquisition intermediaries throughout North America and Europe and holds FINRA Series 62, 63, and 79 securities licences

Bill is a director of several international companies and in 2006 was elected as an Independent Director on the Board of Directors of USA Rugby. He is currently Chairman of Youth and High School Rugby for USA Rugby, and also Vice President of the Board of Trustees for AUT University in Auckland.
